I know that in a garden context we talk about gardens being divided into different rooms, each with their own character, eg. Sissinghurst and Hidcote Manor, but I think it would depend on the scale of the overall area whether you could apply that analogy here -hence the inverted commas!

I've stumbled across this in the past, but can't recall the precise translation I used then. Some googling turned up the following "... the region/area is categorised/subdivided into six distinctive/distinct landforms." HTH

landscape parcels / land-cover parcels
Admittedly, "landscape parcel" is an administrative term referring to specific allocations of land, but I think it would fit well here, also with the Kleingliederung.
