gentle turns for a bite to eat in cozy surroundings

God, German does really pack a lot of information into a small amount of space!

rest turns

I know, I know, but hear me out. This is a word-play. How about including other turns in the sentence to pick up on this?
Something like,
After a day on the slopes filled fast wedge and parallel turns as well as cozy rest turns...
Will an American/British audience pick up on the tongue-in-cheek?

Just a thought.
