German term or phrase: Ausrüstungstyp
This is a term used for chemical protection clothing.

The sentence reads:

"100% Polyester, chemikalienbeständig, Ausrüstungstyp 6"

It goes on to say that it is 'zertifiert gemäß EG-Richtlinien 89/686/EWG' (if that's any help).

I know what it's trying to say, but I just can't express it in English. Can anyone help me clear my translator's block?

Thanks in advance!!

finish type
Explanation:
Perhaps it's this, i.e. in the meaning of for example water-repellent, crease-resistant finish.

Bit of a guess though!

That is of course if it\'s the material itself which is under discussion, which isn\'t clear from the context.
