I have no clue whatsoever what this means...some sort of idiomatic expression or even slang, perhaps? Negative connotation? Thanks, here is the context it is found in:

"Veranstaltungen in Adlershof, obwohl vom Berliner gern als j-w-d bezeichnet, finden zunehmend öffentliche Beachtung; beispielsweise ist die Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften besonders in Adlershof ein großer Erfolg."
