*- that's what Websters online suggests for BILDstrecke, which may or may not be identical to Motivstrecke. I.e. I'm guessing. Subject or thematic series (or sequence) would describe non-technically what I suspect is meant. Am waiting for a professional photographer friend's ideas and will keep you posted.

agree  Jeannette Lakèl: relates to the subject/scene, however "subject series" can also be understood differently. I guess "max. 12 photos per subject" might do.
