making palm bunches Explanation: I don't think there is a direct English equivalent, although I presume this is similar to some churches' custom of making crosses out of palm fronds to commemorate the palms strew on the ground before Jesus as he rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday which are sometimes burned on Ash Wednesday. I would call it making palm bunches, or even bundles, then explain. |
