I am translating an SOP about cleaning lab equipment and this term occurs in the following contexts:

Pipetten und Plümper niemals an der Spitze anfassen.

Glasgeräte, die nicht in die Spülmaschineneinsätze passen, z.B. 5000 ml Meßzylinder (Kratzer durch Aufstecken auf die Spülmaschineneinsätze bzw. evtl. Trübung durch Waschvorgang selbst), Wägegläschen, Porzellanschalen, Chromatographiewannen, Mörser, Petrischalen, Flaschen und Plümper, Schütteltrichter (sofern es sich nicht um Normschliffe handelt, müssen Stopfen und Küken beim jeweiligen Schütteltrichter verbleiben) und wiederverwendbare Plastikgeräte etc.

I am not familiar with this term and my Google search has only found "Plümper" as a proper name.
