business deal, business transaction
Explanation:
"A good deal" is a bargain.
It sounds more to me like the deals/dealings in the given context are present & future business transactions/cooperations that were agreed upon (or business contacts that were established) between the trade fair visitors and the business in question.
You could formulate it as "lots of new business deals were made // a lot of new business deals were clinched" or "a lot of new business was attracted", etc.

Asker: Thank you for everybody's input. To clarify one detail - "good deals" were brought in by myself after Francis asked me what were my own thoughts. This was my own thought but my feeling was that this might be wrong. And that's exactly why I contacted the list.

orders

Explanation:
Depending on the company, of course, but the results of a trade show are usually lots of / plenty of / quite a few good orders. (profitable orders, large orders).

Mein Vorschlag ist also imho korrekt.

37 mins
-> Danke, gleichfalls!

Try Googling "a good deal" ...
45 mins
  -> Wie bitte?

agree  Steffen Walter: many good deals (were closed)
2 hrs
-> Danke, Steffen! Die wünschen wir uns alle :-)

agree  AnjaR: stimme völlig zu - frage mich, wie Francis Lee auf "a good deal" kommt.
3 hrs
-> Vielleicht ist der Deal auf ihn gekommen? ;-)

neutral  Hilary Davies Shelby: I have to agree with Francis, i'm afraid - putting "good" and "deal" together would mean that the company bought a lot of bargains at the trade show!
