German term or phrase: berechenbar

"xxx der zuverlässige und berechenbare Partner im Sport-Sponsoring"
My attempt: "xxx – a reliable and calculable partner for sports sponsoring"

dependable
Explanation:
You I think "berechenbar" is just used here as a synonym for "reliable".

Therefore I would use something along the lines of:

dependable
responsible
trustworthy

If you do want to use "berechenbar", perhaps "predictable" would be an option?

agree  Steffen Walter: As said in my answer below, "predictable" does not seem to fit here since this could also carry a negative connotation. Agree with "trustworthy" and "dependable", though.

-> Thanks; I would also aim for a work-around instead of using "predictable"

agree  Ian M-H (X): dependable and trustworthy both work

agree  Textklick: Kim's translation is accurate IMO but dependable is what I'd use.

trustworthy

Explanation:
I'm not too happy with Kim's suggestion "predictable (partner)", which could also carry a negative connotation. What you need to find here IMHO is a synonym for "zuverlässig" (reliable) since the two adjectives "zuverlässig" and "berechenbar" are somewhat redundant/overlapping.

Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer)
agree  Francis Lee (X): in fact I'd prefer "dependable" for zuverlässig and, indeed, to cover berechenbar as well, but if Stephen bzw. the customer really wants a solution for the latter, then I'd go with this suggestion
