Hi all, Happy New Year!
"Unsere Produktion laeuft sowohl an sechs als auch an sieben Tagen die Woche"
Does this mean "we don't just work 6 days a week, we work 7" (basically we work 7 days a week) - or am I missing something? It just seemed like a complicated way of phrasing something quite straightforward...

Hm, hatte eben schon mal geantwortet, aber Cyberspace hat meinen Beitrag wohl verschluckt. Also nochmal:
Ich denke, dass dieser Satz unterschiedlich interpretiert werden kann. Vielleicht soll tatsächlich betont werden, dass an 7 Tagen die Woche produziert wird.
Vielleicht gibt es aber auch einige Ausnahmewochen, an denen an einem Tag nicht produziert wird (an bestimmten Feiertagen z.B. ?).
Darum würde ich in jedem Fall Kontakt zum Kunden aufnehmen, um falsche Interpretationen zu vermeiden.
(mal sehen, ob das jetzt ankommt ...;-))
