mold of the required shape Explanation: Your interpretation of the last bit sounds right to me, i.e. the mold is of the shape that the finished part is to have. My only query is what you mean about the Vorformling. As I understand it, the "semi-finished products" (Halbzeuge) constitute the compact preform, i.e. are laid down *as* a preform rather than *in* a preform. The way you have put it sounds like the Halbzeuge and the Vorformling are two different things. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2009-05-19 11:53:57 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I agree with your current version, but also agree that "compact" and "großflächig" sound a little contradictory! |
