German term or phrase: Standorteinkauf
Looking for an elegant way to express this. What is meant are the purchasing departments at the various affiliated companies within a group. There is a Procurement Services Unit responsible for all purchasing activities across the group, but each company has its own "Standorteinkauf".

"The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN)
Will TCPN eliminate purchasing departments or purchasing personnel?
No. There will always be a need for a strong local purchasing effort. TCPN should be used as a resource in conjunction with the local purchasing effort, thereby allowing the local purchasing department the time to work with pressing local issues by providing better customer service."
