Wie aus den auszugsweise beigefügten US-Steuerklärungen ersichtlich, nehmen beide Organisationen als Körperschaften („Corporation“) die ***Steuerbegünstigung*** („Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax“) in Anspruch („except private foundations“).

My take EN:
As can be seen from the excerpts of the US tax returns attached, both organizations, in their capacity as corporations, claim the ***tax privilege granted by*** the Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax, cf. the concept "except private foundations".

All English in the source comes from the German-speaking author and should be more or less authentic due to their involvement with the international organization firmly headquartered in the U.S..
