In the following clause, what does abstellen mean?

"Der Dienstnehmer erklärt sich bereit, seine Dienstzeit auf die Bedürfnisse und Unternehmensstruktur des Dienstgebers entsprechend abzustellen."

I've never seen it used in this context, and am not sure whether it means "temporarily put aside" (not to work for a period of time) or "arrange." (The employee is willingness to work whenever his employer needs him to).
