Explanation:
just an educated giuess from the few links I found...
also suggest write-offs, but it seems to be a finanical burden for the supplier (of goods that don't sell well)

agree  TonyTK: Definitely discounts/price reductions/sale prices. The supplier bears part of the cost of the price reduction. "Abschriftenhilfe" is a synonym for "Abschriftenbeteiligung". // Raghu - isn't is shared by the supplier and the retailer ("Kunde")?

agree  Raghunathan Rajagopalan: Financial burden for the supplier - yes. Tony, why "bears part of the cost..." Though it captures :beteiligung" very well - who else can bear the cost of discount? Can we remove "part" from here Tony? Thanks for the clarification Tony, I got it.

Explanation:
There are few 'strange' words in the text (Konnexitaet) and therefore I wonder if 'Abschrift' may not be related to 'abschreiben'. (even though 'Abschreibung' would be the correct word)
However, I am not quite sure how that would work in reality.
It would probably be given by way of a discount for newly ordered goods.
Anyway, I just thought I mention the possible relationship of the 'Abschrift' and 'abschreiben' for further consideration.
