environmental archive
Explanation:
"environmental archive" @ 477 ggl
(‘eco’ or ‘ecological’ are not as widely used in English as in German)

Given the limited context provided, it appears that xxx is the actual name of the archive and that eco-Archiv may be a generic description of the organisation. In this case, you would be right to translate 'eco-Archiv'. If, however, from the wider context it becomes clear that 'eco-Archiv' is indeed the actual name, a.j.lever's solution would be correct.

eco-Archive

Explanation:
Believe this is an organisation involved in archiving various information on ecological areas for the use of students/scientists etc.

Would not translate eco as the organisation is described in the brackets that follow

agree  Hilary Davies Shelby: or "Environmental Studies Archive"?//Edit - there seem to be multiple eco Archives (try googling it) attached to Stadtarchiven etc. I'd assume that XXX is the name of the town/company
