Registered mail-delivered to mailbox Explanation: Einschreiben - registered mail with required signature Einschreiben-Einwurf - registered mail-delivered to mailbox I don't think the US Postal Service has registered mail that is just delivered to the mailbox, as far as I know it has to be signed for. See below info: Die Post unterscheidet zwischen „Übergabe-Einschreiben“ (das Einschreiben wird gegen Unterschrift ausgeliefert) und „Einwurf-Einschreiben“ (die Sendung wird in das Postfach oder in den Briefkasten des Empfängers eingelegt, der Zusteller bescheinigt die Auslieferung). Neu heißt das Übergabe-Einschreiben wieder Einschreiben, weil ein Großteil der Kunden diesen Begriff unverändert verwendet hat. |
