The word Kühlwanne comes up on numerous occasions in this text I'm doing. I'm quoting the above sentence, because it seems to describe what the thing actually does. I found "cooling trough" in Laixicon, but am not sure whether that applies here or not. Another dictionary suggests "cooler box", which has some promise, but again, I don't know whether that would be commonly used in this field. I have also found "cold pan" in relation to counter tops, and this text is all about refrigeration systems or something like that for food counters.

So would cooling trough, cooler box or cold pan work here? Or is there some other term altogether that is regarded as standard in this sort of context? TIA for your assistance.
