Even on the very last page, this catering catalogue is still giving me grief. I can't find "Zwischensteg" in any dictionary, and the only ProZ reference was for a stamp-collecting context. GN is gastronorm. A GN-Zwischensteg appears to be designed for a gastronorm container. TIA for your help. This is somewhat urgent.

Thanks Darek FINALLY - something that actually makes sense in the context! Mind you, I'm not entirely sure about it, despite the reference, but it is at least a more likely possibility here than "gutter".

It has nothing to do with butchery! It's about display stuff for cafeterias and what-have-you! Actually, I've just realised these "Zwischenstege" are listed under "Trennstege". Laixicon lists "Trennsteg" as "separating strip", so maybe a Zwischensteg is a strip of some kind. But of one thing I am positive: in this context, it is NOT, repeat NOT a gutter!!!

I did find "gutter" In the ProZ glossary, but that was in a STAMP-COLLECTING context, extremely different to catering. So I'm extremely dubious about "gutter" here. Anyone got some other ideas - PLEASE! It's getting more urgent by the minute.

who did mention equipment! Was there any context. Gutter just relates to catering

Not only, I suppose. If you can't open it, then, write in a search engine dialog box zwischensteg and "intermediate rail " and you will find it.
