Again there is no context. This is one more item from the long list of about 80 products in the range of a company that deals primarily with conveyors, hopper charging elevators and other materials handling and processing equipment.
Could a "Raupenbecherförderer" be a "creeper bucket conveyor"????
Or what??????

crawler bucket conveyer (see detail)
Hi Dan,
I just finished a translation with all sorts of conveyers. A Becherförderer is a bucket conveyer, and 'Raupen' sugests the tracks of a caterpiller or other tracked vehicle. There are thus two possibilities: a chain-link bucket conveyer, or a mobile bucket conveyer mounted on a tracked vehicle (such equipment is used in mining and excvating). Since Cornelsen lists 'Raupenbagger' as a 'crawler excavator', Raupenkran as 'crawler crane', etc, I would be inclined to use the second option. Unfortunately, no hits on Google. Can you ask the client?

caterpillar bucket conveyor
The bucket conveyor is movable. It could also be called a "tracked bucket conveyor". And Ernst also lists "crawler" and Routledge "caterpillar" as an alternatives for "Raupe". But "tracked" could be misunderstood.
If you want to make it more general, call it a "mobile bucket conveyor".
