All of my references translate this as "device-oriented," but when I think of a "device," I think of something that is small and usually used by an end-user, so it doesn't seem to fit the context very well. Any ideas?
BTW, can anyone point me in the direction of a good online glossary for energy terminology? The ones I've located seem rather incomplete.
