German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Energy / Power Generation
German term or phrase: Feuerschrank
Term appears in a training program for a waste incineration plant. The spelling 'Feurerschrank' also appears but I suspect the first one is correct.

Context:
Über eine Handsteuerung kann jedes einzelne Rostelement bei Einstellarbeiten vom **Feuerschrank** aus gefahren werden.

-------
Ohne PLS kann der Stössel vom **Feurerschrank** aus gefahren werden.

Thoughts so far...
I am assuming this is some kind of control cabin that personnel use to control the system. Like a "Warte"
so perhaps **firing station**??

- has anybody come across this before?

Thanks for your reply in advance!

(incineration) control cubicle
Explanation:
Looks a fairly good bet, given that Ernst WB der industriellen Technik suggests "control board, control cubicle" for [Schalt]~Schrank"; as we know, German does sometimes leave out bits of compound words, and this may also have happened here.

Thanks to everybody for your answers. "Furnace cabinet" would fit too but I I personally prefer the chosen answer. "incineration console" is also a good suggestion but loses the meaning of "Schrank" which means the space is probably enclosed.
