  -> Thanka, a.j., "Recipient" works, too

agree  Trudy Peters: customer was my first thought

  -> Thanks, Trudy

agree  Arthur Allmendinger: customer
20 hrs
  -> Thanks, Arthur

neutral  Victor Dewsbery: (Later note on 2 March 06): I think the Anschlussnehmer is the supplier and not the customer in this context. (I found this entry because I am doing a similar grid connection contract).

party connected/connecting (into the grid)

Explanation:

agree  Victor Dewsbery: (Later note on 2 March 06): In a similar contract (which I have on my desk now), I will use "connected party". Your explanation describes the situation in my contract, too.

  -> Thanks Victor; although technically, Brie is also correct with "customer" as in "a recipient of services", I think this was more accurate in the context.
