Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng

A list of industries using my client's product concludes with: "...und Salzsäure-Synthesanlagen für die Chemie- und Anlagenindustrie."
My quick take on "Anlagenindustrie" is "capital goods industry" -- i.e., "...and hycrochloric acid synthesizing installations for the chemical and capital goods industries." Does that sound right?

Comment: "I also had difficulties using "process" as an adjective, but 253,000 Google hits indicates this seems to be modern Engineer-Speak", so I used "process industry" in the end. Many thanks!"
