From a Management Letter of Representation (Vollständigkeitserklärung):

"Bewertungserhebliche Umstände nach dem Abschlussstichtag"

Am I right in assuming that "bewertungserhebliche Umstände" is the same as "wertbeeinflussende Tatsachen" (= non-adjusting events) under IAS? Btw, I don't know what accounting standards this company uses. As they are only small, I suspect they report in accordance with the HGB.

This appears to be a term used mainly by StB, rather than WPs (it doesn't appear in the WP-Handbuch or any of the IDW publications on auditing).

My feeling is that it applies both to adjusting and non-adjusting events, rather than merely to non-adjusting events.

Curious how the same term crops up in an entirely different context in insider trading.

And I suppose you could always fudge it a bit by using \"adjusting/non-adjusting events\".
Why can\'t they just stick to the standard \"wertaufhellend\" and \"wertbeeinflussend/wertbegründend\"?
