opus citatum = ouvrage cité. Il s'agit d'un ouvrage déjà mentionné précédemmet et donc on ne remet pas toutes les références.

L'abréviation en français est op. cit. et on ne la trouve que dans les notes en général de bas de page.
Je viens de terminer de lire un ouvrage de l'historienne Esther Benbassa et en bas de chaque page je trouvais très souvent cette abréviation qui faisait référence à des ouvrages déjà été cités précédemment.
