French term

rock et pointu

French to English Marketing Textiles / Clothing / Fashion
This comes up a in a look book for an up market ready-to-wear fashion house, talking about shoes. I know what it means, I think, but what is the 2015 way of saying it?

Elles apportent une touche rock et pointue à n’importe quelle silhouette

Any help gratefully received. Many thanks.

Discussion

Jane Phillips (asker) Jun 19, 2015:
I had to deliver so went with a combination of edgy and rock so the points will go Sheri many thanks. Rock and roll as such is too explicit for this context but I do like edgy and shall store it away for future reference. However I shall leave the question open for a bit longer in case anyone has an exact UK version. As ever many thanks to everyone for their help, much appreciated!

an edgy, rock-and-roll look

Another suggestion. It would help to see the shoes and to know the general vibe of the lookbook, of course :-)
