vie en œuvre
Rebonjour,

"the Plastics Division of American Chemistry Council (ACC) life cycle inventory project will yield an important component to help examine the full life cycle (i.e. fabrication, use phase, and end-of-life data) for the majority of plastics products."

"Life Cycle Assessment is not about how well one performs on an exercise bicycle but instead endeavors to characterize the environmental impacts of a product or service throughout its life cycle starting with obtaining raw materials and ending with disposal. Originally concerned with energy analysis, over the last three decades Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) has evolved into a distinct field incorporating comprehensive scientific-based inventory and evaluation techniques that holistically measures the environmental impacts of producing a product or service within the following sequential stages: "

Note that it's not "operating life cycle" as suggested in the Discussion, because it covers periods that are not operational, such as manufacture, sitting around waiting to be used and disposal/recycling.

That's simplistic word-for-word translation. As I've demonstrated in the examples I posted above, one only needs to look at how the two expressions are used to see that usage is identical.
