That is the entirety of the clause. I'm not confused as to what it's getting at but how to render "action interrogatoire"? "Discovery"?

- depending on the context and if Pacte de préférence refers to a patent licenc/see's or franchisee's pre-emption right. (I'm unsure what a 'preferential agreement' in the ProZ FRE/ENG glossary i supposed to mean).

Otherwise, discovery (production of evidence) is a civil-law process, now called disclosure in the UK in both civil and criminal cases, interrogatories in cvil cases being, or used to be, requests for further and better particulars. I think this scenario is closer to a 'citation (e.g. to a relative of the deceased) to take out probate': accept or refuse the grant.

L'action interrogatoire est une action visant à mettre une personne en demeure de prendre parti. Cette action est notamment autorisée dans le code civil depuis l'ordonnance n° 2016-131 du 10 février 2016 qui crée trois actions interrogatoires permettant de lever le doute : en présence d'un pacte de préférence, en cas d'incertitude sur les pouvoirs d'un représentant, en cas de possibilité d'une action en nullité.
