linkage actuator
Probably "timon" as in "timonerie", for the rods and levers of a control linkage mechanism.
"Timonerie" is most often associated with steering linkages, especially of boats, but can be other things. The rods and arms that convert the rotary motion of a windscreenwiper motor into the back and forth movement of the wipers is a sort of "timonerie", as are the rods that used to be used instead of cables for the brake controls on bicycles.

timonerie - Ensemble de tringles, barres, câbles, palonniers, connecteurs qui commandent la direction, les freins, etc. dans un véhicule
