English term

by way of a deed

English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
(whether by way of a deed or otherwise)

This phrase is stated in a Power of Attorney drafted by an English lawyer:

"Generally to represent the Principal in all business matters and things requisite and necessary, or in any manner connected with or having reference to any amendment to memorandums of association and the acquisition or disposal of any shares and to execute (whether before a notary public or otherwise), sign, enter into, acknowledge, perfect and do all such deeds, agreements, instruments (whether by way of a deed or otherwise), acts and things as shall be requisite for the purposes of dealing with any amendment to memorandums of association and the acquisition or disposal of shares as mentioned in this Power of Attorney"

Can you please help find a proper synonym so that I can convert the same into Arabic?

thank you

Discussion

AllegroTrans Apr 24, 2018:
@ Daryo Only a (rather bad) approximation, since an "acte authentique" is invaraibly executed by/before a notary (civil law) whereas a deed (common law) can be signed by any individual(s) provided the correct wording is used, no lawyer need be involved at all.

Definition of deed

Glossary
Deed
A deed is a written document which is executed with the necessary formality (that is, more than a simple signature), and by which an interest, right or property passes or is confirmed, or an obligation binding on some person is created or confirmed. Deeds are generally enforceable despite any lack of consideration. The limitation period for actions brought under a deed is generally 12 years, although it is six years for claims for arrears of rent and arrears of interest under a mortgage (sections 8, 19 and 20, Limitation Act 1980).
