cable attached to the unit Explanation: Usually, a 'trailing' cable is one that is connected / attached to the unit directly (and permanently), as distinct from one that is connected via some kind of plug-and-socket arrangement (and which can hence be removed easily...) Sometimes, the term is used more loosely to mean ANY cable (attached or not) connecting to a unit (as distinct from a completely portable unit, that has no wires of any kind attached) The reference to 'electrical' cable suggests that this may well be the mains power supply cable, though that is not necessarily the case... |
