agree  Tony M: Yes, but the 'integral' means specifically 'built within' the lamp etc., as distinct from an external one (tho' of course they could be used as replacements for those too) // What I'm trying to say is that it's not 'come with' so much as 'built-in'

  -> These Lutron dimmers are on extension cords and you can use them if your lamp did not come with a dimmer, whether built-in or cable-mounted. Would you agree?
