I have been thinking all day about this term. As Urdu has no alternative for what "Outreach" describes. After pondering whole day I am successful in coining a term which in my opinion can be a proper translation of "outreach".
First of all let's look what "outreach" actually means. Wikipedia defines it as:
"Outreach is an activity of providing services to populations who might not otherwise have access to those services."
Important thing is that Outreach activity is for those people who don't have access to those services otherwise. In other words "outreacher" approaches those people in order to provide them specific needs. Putting it in straight words "Those people are simply "out of reach" of those services without the help of "outreachers".
Keeping in mind the above context, I have coined the term: بالارسائی for outreach. بالا means "out" or "beyond" reach and رسائی simply means "reach" or "access".
This is a humble effort to translate a new term with which Urdu is not familiar.
It is my utmost desire to see Urdu able to express the most advance and intricate ideas of every knowledge for which I always try to coin new terms.
