Hola a todos!
No estoy segura sobre cómo traducir este término.
He encontrado sólido fluido, pero no sé si es un poco contradictorio.
¿Alguien se topó con este término alguna vez?
Desde ya muchas gracias

: Exacto; material de tipo granular, que puede fluidificarse bajo ciertas condiciones. Siempre brillante, Mónica.

sólidos fluidos
sólidos fluidos como grano, ....
With the context of the rest of the sentence it's clear that means "which can flow" or "free-flowing" and not "líquido"

: O sólido, o fluido. // Te felicito: eres el primer angloparlante nativo que me dice que yo, hispanoparlante nativo, malentendí un término en español...

sólidos que fluyen dado que son partículas pequen~as... Has mal entendido el sentido de fluído./Thanks, and I stand by it. "o sólido, o fluido" suggests you are taking them as nouns; but, and I repeat, fluido is acting as an adjective.

Entonces, fluidificable: que [puede volverse]/[es capaz de hacerse]/[es susceptible de hacerse] (lo que le falta a tu sugerencia, mala como está) fluido.
Thus, to preserve the psychological sense of the text (and to render it understandable within the framework of the receiving cultures), translators were entitled not only to make radical changes to the literal meaning of the original text, but also to its reference - Umberto Eco, Experiences in Translations.
It means the person in the silo is in danger of being engulfed BY the flowable solid, not swallowing it.
fluido adj free-flowing adj
https://www.wordreference.com/es/en/translation.asp?spen=flu...
Sólido fluidificado/fluidificable.
Si está trabajando en un espacio confinado que contiene líquidos o sólidos [...] como grano, maíz o carbón, debe tomar medidas para evitar tragarlos.
If you’ll be working in a confined space that contains liquids or flowable solids like grain, corn, or coal, you should take steps to avoid engulfment.
Can you please give us some context.
The sentence where it appears.
The title and purpose of the document.
And perhaps most importantly what material it refers to, what is a "flowable solid".
