English term or phrase: poking iron
I am translating a self-authored article in which I look at a slave song about slaves flying back to Africa. The song mentions the enslaved Africans getting distressed at seeing cows prodded with poking irons. I could not find a Spanish translation for this. The original article is in Papiamentu. I am translating it into English and Spanish.
