Hi!

Is there anyone out there who knows the official translation for "pairing code" in Spanish?

"Pairing code is another term for a number that associates your computer with a Bluetooth enabled device".

I'm trying to decide between the following two options:

"código de emparejamiento" --> sounds too literal but lots of hits on Google
"código de asociación" --> sounds better to me but less results on Google

Explanation:
Yo me quedaría con esa. Lo he visto seguido de esta forma y no así a "código de asociación". También aparece así en el glosario de Microsoft. Espero que te sirva de ayuda.

Asker: Si bien "código de emparejamiento" es el término usado por Microsoft, me parece una traducción demasiado literal. "Codigo de sincronización" me parece que comunica mejor la idea del "pairing"... tal como se usa en iTunes al sincronizar el smartphone. ¡Gracias!
