2. Provide equipment, labor, and tools to cut, fit, and properly install framing members required per plans and specifications. The building is to be prepared for and ready to receive roofing and drywall.
3. Verify that beams and columns are level/plumb and located as indicated on plans.
4. All subfloors are to be glued and nailed, providing proper spacing between butt and head joints as per manufacturer’s specifications.
5. All storm sheathing is to be installed as per manufacturer’s specifications.
6. Polyethylene shall be placed under bottom edge of storm sheathing and allowed to drape down and cover floor-framing member.
7. Use coated or galvanized devices exposed to weather, touching cedar or redwood in accordance with specifications.
8. Frame all soffits and chases for cabinets, ductwork, pipes, etc.
9. Cathedral, coffered, and vaulted ceiling areas are to be included in base price for framing.
10. When floor or roof trusses are to be used, said trusses are to be installed and braced per manufacturer’s specifications.
11. When engineered floor systems are to be used, said floors are to be installed and braced per manufacturer/engineer layouts.
