Pues el "defacto partner" equivale prácticamente al concubinato, en donde la pareja tiene que ser forzosamente heterosexual y aquí creo que se trata más bien de un nuevo término (politically correct?), por lo que yo diría:
“Las prestaciones están disponibles para su cónyuge o para la pareja con la que cohabita. “La pareja con la que cohabita” es un término legal para definir a alguien con quien usted vive pero con quien no se encuentra casado(a)....”
