Being transparent with our Finance Team concerning all elements of a customer transaction is essential for proper revenue recognition.
As a result, any promise to a customer of additional products, services or other benefits (such as a cash refund on returned products) outside the approved sale terms is strictly prohibited.
These secretive arrangements are known as side agreements.
They completely undermine the transparency and controls that are essential for measuring revenue correctly and with integrity.
It is unacceptable for any associate to create, perpetuate, or fail to make a report about any such arrangement.
