kredyty z tytułu redukcji emisji gazów cieplarnianych uzyskanej w wyniku produkcji produktów ... Explanation: kredyty z tytułu redukcji emisji gazów cieplarnianych uzyskanej w wyniku produkcji produktów ubocznych o współmiernej wartości ekonomicznej cccccccc Co-product Many ore deposits are worked for more than one element. Where those elements are of almost equal economic significance they are called ‘co-products http://www.encyclopedia.com/science/dictionaries-thesauruses... cccccccc CO-PRODUCTS Displacement effects of animal feed by-product As discussed previously, animal feeds co-produced with maize ethanol can offset the need for conventional livestock feeds, including maize, soybean meal and urea, and in fact may offer improved animal performance when included in animal diets. Sales of ethanol co-produced animal feeds in the animal feed market reduce the energy and environmental impacts of producing conventional animal feeds. Incorporating the displacement of conventional feeds by DGS and other animal feed into the LCA of ethanol therefore provides GHG “credits” for the biofuel. These credits are considered direct credits that are simulated in GREET. http://www.fao.org/docrep/016/i3009e/i3009e.pdf ccc DGS Distillers grain with solubles GREET Greenhouse gases, regulated emissions, and energy use in transportation GHG greenhouse gas LCA Life-cycle Analysis -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2017-03-10 14:02:02 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- cccccccccccccccccccccccccccc ccccccccccccccccccc Here, "credit" includes an "energy credit" as well. 2.3.3 Co-product credits Many processes produce not only the required fuel product but also other streams or “co-products”. This is the case for biofuels from traditional crops such as bio-diesel from rapeseed. In some cases, e.g. soya it is not always clear whether the fuel or non-fuel products are the most important. In line with the philosophy described above we endeavoured to represent the “incremental” impact of these co-products. This implies that the reference scenario must include either an existing process to generate the same quantity of co-product as the alternative-fuel scenario, or another product which the co-product would realistically replace. The implication of this logic is the following methodology (Figure 2.3.3): • All energy and emissions generated by the process are allocated to the main or desired product of that process. • The co-product generates an energy and emission credit equal to the energy and emissions saved by not producing the material that the co-product is most likely to displace. For example, in the production of bio-diesel from oil seeds, protein-rich material from e.g. oil seeds pressing are likely to be used as animal fodder displacing soy meal http://iet.jrc.ec.europa.eu/about-jec/sites/iet.jrc.ec.europ...
