"To determine energy consumption by methods of modeling, the necessary information will be the existing stock related to every considered appliance (often grossed up from a sample) and, the corresponding specific consumptions for a representative sample or manufacturers guidance on use."
If overall household electricity use is calculated by grossing up the results of a sample survey on household energy consumption the own use of electricity production can be ignored."

English term (edited):
To gross up
Selected
zwiększyć proporcjonalnie
To increase in proportion. Seems better to stick to the verb in the source rather than change it to a noun "grossing-up".
