This is a part of assignmnt from school. I would like to know how to pronounce it in Japanese and what exactly it is(definition in Japanese). Your help is appreciated.

イクチオプランクトン

I would pronounce it as "イクチオプランクトン", since Ichthyosaurus, a fairly popular word, is expressed as "イクチオサウルス" in Japanese. According to the following site ichthyoplankton means eggs and larvae of fish. In Kanji it would be 魚卵および稚仔魚.

イヒチオールプランクトン

If you are able to read Japanese Katakana, you are all set. The first part is a lot to do with fish. Good luck.
