竜 龍 辰 麒麟 Explanation: The Japanese for dragon (ryu) is written 竜 or 龍 (I recommend the second) The Dragon used in for the name of the year of the dragon (and hence linked with success, since those born in this year 1965, 1977 are said to financiallly successful) 辰 (tatu) Alternatively, if mythical beasts are your cup of tea then 麒麟 (kirin) a legendary Chinese animal with a single horn, a deer-like body, horse-like hoofs, and an ox-like tail, which is used to describe wonder children for instance (as well as a famous brand of beer), might also be of interest. |

竜 Explanation: I prefer the former style 龍, but custumarily 竜 will be a bit safer. However, Ryunosuke Akutagawa is absolutely 芥川龍之介. |
