I would go non-literal on this 14:42 May 8, 2011
How about: שאריות מזון שרוף
I found this: Fats can burn extremely fast at these high temperatures whereby so-called ‘tar resin’ is produced, which can burn into the surface of the coating and no longer be able to be removed, thus meaning that the non-stick properties could be damaged.
I don't think it is actual tar resin but something that looks like it.
I once burnt veggies in a pot and the residue did look a little like tar, but it wasn't :-)
