1) The Bulgarian Association of Networking Academies IS associated with Cisco...have you been to their website??? HOMEPAGE: The Bulgarian Association of Networking Academies (BANA) is a non-profit organization of all Cisco academies and parties concerned in Bulgaria. 2) You keep mentioning WOMEN and NETWORKING....how did you draw the conclusion that this is related to Women NEtworking? 3) It seems to me that you understand NETWORKING in the sence of Social Networking, which is not the case here. We are talking about Academies teaching Networking (set-up and maintenance of IT networks) which was correctly translated by PROSGR as ΔΙΚΤΥΩΣΗ! 4) I have given you definitions of Networking Academies from both Cisco and BANA websites above and you have decided to disregard them both. To summarise, I do not agree with anything you have mentioned and we are definitely not saying the same thing.
@ Angeliki:- You are saying what I am saying. You had never come across NETWORKING ACADEMIES, as this is a Term UNIQUELY used by Cisco. You say, '' I have come across Network of Academies/Universities a lot...'', YES, PRECISELY, they do NETWORKING, AS MOST OF US DO. ''Furthermore, Google search for "NETWORKING ACADEMIES" has revealed that it's a term almost exclusively used by Cisco.'' And MY CONTENTION that, in the case in hand, -Management: women and networking- does not belong to the Cisco 'camp', UNLESS the 'Bulgarian Association of Networking Academies' is affiliated to Cisco and is NOT a Government or Semi-Government Association, as all the other named Bodies are. I would have thought Assimina would have stepped in the discussion, by now, to give us more text. She usually gives a lot. Not this time.

There is NO ambiguity ....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisco_Networking_Academy Cisco Networking Academy, a global education initiative from Cisco Systems, offers networking programs, like the (Cisco Certified Network Associate) CCNA and (Cisco Certified Network Professional) CCNP courses, which prepare students for the certification exams of the same name, and other computer-related courses. Also see History of virtual learning environments for how Cisco Networking Academy has developed since 1997 relative to others within the VLE community. Courses are available in approximately 9,000 local academies, in over 165 different countries.
I find this very ambiquous. 'Networking people' are people who 'belong to and partake in a particulat Network'. In the case Assimina has provided us with, 'Management: women and networking' I can hardly say that it means 'women are teaching Networking', though they could, ofcourse. I would still insist that this is a case of 'women networking together in subjects of their interest'. The so called 'Networking Academies', by Cisco, is because Cisco provides the platform for people to Network on, as Cisco says, for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. People who are interested, say on Science, will form a Network between themselves to exchange ideas on the subject. They can do that by centres Cisco provides, (calling them Networking Academies). Here is a particular case and, in my opinion, does NOT apply to the case Assimina has presented. Only she can clarify.
Αυτή τη λανθασμένη, κατ' εμένα πάντοτε, εξήγηση, αν θα την μετάφραζα πισω στα Αγγλικά θα έλεγα το εξής, 'Academies where Networking is taught!!!', which is not the same as 'Networking Academies'. Furthermore, it is a subject on women netwokrking together, on subjects of common interest. It does NOT mean these women are told/taught how to network!!!
