Ich würde hier eher von Kompatibilität sprechen. Es ist neutraler als Beimischungsfähigkeit. In Zukunft soll es auch Biokraftstoffe geben, die nicht mehr mit konventionellen Kraftstoffen gemischt werden müssen und die in bestehenden zurzeit mit konventionellen Kraftstoffen betriebenen bzw. dafür ausgelegten Anlagen verwendet werden können. Das wird auch im Link von Imke ausgeführt.

Habe folgende Beschreibung für drop-in fuel gefunden, es geht anscheinend darum, dass man einige Biokraftstoffe besonders gut mit konventionellen Kraftstoffen mischen kann.
