For setting the Round length press the Program button in the main screen. The screen for setting the round length (see screen 5) will appear. At the top row the round length can be filled out. This value is limitated between 10 and 200 mm.

Si l'on utilise des bouvets pour créer des rainures dans le bois, on peut imaginer que les pièces de bois concernées peuvent être rectangulaires, carrées..voire rondes.
Le terme round length peut donc correspondre simplement à diameter/diamètre (ou pourquoi pas une "portion" de diamètre déterminée afin de préparer l'outil pour la création de la rainure sur une pièce de bois ronde).

: I'm already not sure of this and I've posted a reference from the same company. But if round length were to mean anything like what you say, it would be "circumference".

I suspect 'round' here is an incorrect term (AFAIK) for the 'rondin' — which I think in FR would be a 'bille' or 'grume', non ?
Oh, but hang on a moment! The length is very short!
Is this machine intended to 'round off' the ends of the timber? In which case, those measurements would make sense... Or is it cutting it into 'round' slices? Which I suppose would be 'tronçons'? (perhaps 'rondelle' in cuisine!)
