English term or phrase: sesame seed sangak bread
Greetings,

Today sesame seed sangak bread i.e. sangak bread with sesame seeds came up on Iran TV.

It sounded like ‘سنگک کاشکاشی’, but please ignore if unhelpful.

All the best, and many thanks,

Simon

سنگک کنجدی

Explanation:
Simon, I just remembered and checked my dictionary: sesame is کنجد in Persian. So if you are looking for "sesame" sangak this is what you want.

خشخاش is poppy. I trust that you heard this correctly on the TV, so the translation for this should be "poppy seed sangak bread".

Hope this clears it up.
