I found this reference with a description and an illustration:

"The liquid product from the bottom of the separator is sent to a fractionator called a stabilizer (butanizer). It makes a bottom product called reformate; butanes and lighter go overhead and are sent to the saturated gas plant."

Hi Tineke! Yes, you are right. Well, the butanizer-stabilizer is also called a fractionator, which is a "fractioneerkolom". A fractionator separates the liquid product into the reformate and the butane gas, producting butane, and is therefore called a butanizer. So my best guess is simply then to write "fractioneerkolom", this will certainly sound familiar to Google ears.

Hey Max, we meet again! Thanks for your input. Your answer sounds promising, but unfortunately 'butaanstabilisator' doesn't give any hits on google....
